How to apply for Bihar STET (Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test) 2025: The application process for the Bihar Board STET exam will now begin at bsebstet.org. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 19th September 2025 to 27th September 2025. You can check here the online application link, exam fee and all other important information.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 from September 19, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 27 September 2025. Earlier, candidates had to apply through secondary. biharboardonline.com or biharboardonline.com, but now the committee has changed it to bsebstet.org. Due to this change, candidates can fill the application form directly by going to this website. The last date to apply online for Bihar STET 2025 has been set as 27 September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

| Secondary (Class 9th and 10th) Paper I | Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject with 50% Marks and passed in B.Ed Exam OR Master’s Degree in concerned subject and B.Ed Examination passed OR Bachelor Degree / Master Degree with a Minimum marks of 45% (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed OR 4 Year Course BA BEd / BSc BEd Exam Passed OR Equivalent from any Recognized University / Board/ Institutions in India. |
| Senior Secondary (Class 11th and 12th) Paper II | B.Ed. degree (not necessary for computer science) and a postgraduate degree in the field with Second Division. Candidates in the SC, ST, EBC, BC, and Dibyang categories receive a 5% mark relaxation. |
Selection Process
The following steps will be followed in Bihar STET 2025 selection process:
- Merit List,
- CBT Exam, and
- Document Verification.
Bihar STET 2025 paper pattern
- Bihar STET exam will have multiple choice questions. Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.
- Paper-1 & Paper-2: 100 questions subjective + 50 questions from Teacher Art / other competencies
- The total number of questions: 150
- Mode of the test: CBT (online)
- The time: 2.5 hours
